The High Line at night

It's a hit! Haven't been myself yet, but in my old Chelsea apartment I would have looked right out at the park from my kitchen window (and had thousands of passers-by gazing back at me). Take a peek at these evocative photographs of the new High Line (via Gothamist) in the meantime.
Congratulations to Robert Hammond and Joshua David and the whole community.

This looks like a still from some movie I have been waiting to see: noir yet soulful and alive. A bit like New York actually. Thank you!

stephen -- I just stopped by during a cruising session(I am not sure if I have been by before) and am completely hooked. I have been reading everything you are talking about with such interest and enjoyment. And then....to make it all the better, I checked out your blog roll and saw my studio 'g' -- I am so flattered - thanks! I look forward to your site being part of my regular reading!
